I am the customer experience Manager with Lion Safety. My role is to make sure that the customer has a positive journey from the start of the process to the end when you receive your parcel. I love dealing with the vast range of customers we have in a very fast paced environment.

Outside of work I like to travel abroad visiting different countries.

Chloe French

Customer Service Advisor

I’m Chloe, Customer Service Advisor. I like that every day in this job is different, and I like building relationships with customers. Away from work, I like to spend time with family and friends, going out for food and enjoy climbing Scotland’s hills and munros. My pet hate is when people crack their knuckles.

Shannon Graham

Customer Service Advisor

My job involves Processing Orders, Answering Customer enquiries via phone and email. I like it because no day is exactly the same and every enquiry is something different, I also like speaking to new people all the time!

Outside of work I like shopping, socialising and going to gigs / seeing live music.

Daryl Michel

Key Account Manager

I’m a passionate, creative, process-driven individual, currently part of an amazing Sales Team as Key Account Manager at Lion Safety. I have a desire to make the buying process for any client as smooth and seamless as possible through the use of technology, whilst emphasising personal interaction with clients. I am fascinated by all things military, and big machines. In my ‘spare time’ I enjoy water sports, and playing the guitar and piano.

Amy Hope

Business Development Assistant

My main role as Business Development Assistant is to support the sales team and make sure they are following tasks, and everything is completed at the quotation stage. Also, I make sure the team know what their targets are and what is needed to reach and exceed them! I enjoy travelling and exploring places where I have never been before. Also, hiking is a hobby of mine and I am hoping to bag a lot more Munros over the next few years!

Martin Brown

Key Account Manager

As Sales Manager for Lion Safety covering the East Coast of Scotland my job takes me to many various sites and lets me meet the customers to discuss their requirements face to face. Outside of work I am a keen amateur photographer and a member of Linlithgow’s Deacons Court an organisation set up to maintain the centuries old Riding of the Marches in Linlithgow

Kevin Michel

Key Account Manager

I love finding out where things come from and where they go, the detail, the data, the real granular stuff!

Dale Skirton

Business Development Manager

My role in the business is in Business Development, my time largely spent talking and engaging with prospective customers and new enquiries. In my spare time (if there is such a thing) I like to engage in human activities, like walking in the fresh air, and socialising with family and friends.

Wade Lewis

Business Development Manager

I’ve worked at all stages of the sales process in the three years I’ve been with Lion, starting with customer service and account management, telemarketing, and now my current role in business development. The role suits my achievement and process-driven personality style, and I enjoy that the role allows me to meet new people. Getting to know new clients’ issues, making sure we solve them, whilst adding value as a partner and not just a supplier, is the most important aspect of my job.

Laurie Lewis

Sales Director

As Sales & Marketing Director I am responsible for driving all of the sales and marketing activities across the business. I absolutely love my role helping to grow the business and leading a fantastic team on a journey of continued growth, finding new ways of working and helping solve complex problems for our customers and providing great solutions. Outside of work I spend time with my wife and young daughter, keep active and enjoy time in the great outdoors. I love personal development and enjoy learning from others ahead of me on how to continually become a better person, dad, husband and colleague.

Deborah Pairman

Financial Controller

In my role as Financial Controller I am involved in all aspects of financial reporting, monthly and annually, and in day to day finance support and governance. I became a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) in 2002 and trained in Audit with PwC Newcastle for three years until qualified. I also hold a B.Sc. in Forensic and Analytical Chemistry from Strathclyde University. I have worked in finance since qualifying in accountancy, across different industries including FMCG, retail, property, and in the not for profit sector producing both management information and statutory accounts. As Mum to two school aged boys, spare time is family time. Before Covid, travel was the main activity outside of work. In recent years I visited Rome, Venice, Oxford, Cornwall, Palma, Segovia, Amsterdam, Dublin and Florida.

Estelle Lewis

My role within the Finance Team involves overseeing the daily financial activities (debt collecting, invoice processing, and numerous other tasks) within the business. I assist with finance reports and reconciling account balances (Customers, Suppliers and Bank). In my spare time I enjoy walking, cooking and spending time with friends and family.

Roger Lewis

Managing Director

Hello, I am the Managing Director of Lion Safety. Being part of a high performing team that delivers WOW experiences for the customer is fulfilling. Creating trust by being honest is a core value. I am still a learner and continue to develop from sound business advice and experience. I like climbing Scotlands Munro’s although I am not a bagger! Favourite panoramic views are from the mountains in Glen Coe. I am a 365 day a year barbecuer, love enchiladas, and dislike hot food gone cold and warm milk! My advice, put the fun back into your work.

Ralph Lewis

Commercial Director

I’m responsible for the Commercial & Operational functions of Lion Safety. After having spent two years in a global corporate enterprise on a secondment package, there is lots of learning to implement within Lion Safety to enable growth in future years. For those that know me, I’m a big advocate of “GSD” – get stuff done. Hence, I always have to be busy! I love to coach and support peers and colleagues, and firmly believe that having a Level 10 mindset makes you operate in a Level 10 arena.

George Melville

My main role in Lion Safety was in Operations and after spending eight years there have now moved over to Procurement. I’m looking forward to learning the processes and using the vast knowledge of products I have gained from working in Operations. Away from work I like spending time at boot camp, attending four times week, and dealing with a busy family life.
